From the beginning of times women relied on each other, helped each other during pregnancy, birth and postpartum…the word doula means “a serving woman” and I am here for you to guide you on this journey.
The journey through pregnancy, birth, the freshest raw postpartum moments and newborn stage will change you, form you. There might be questions or doubts that pop up and you will want to ask someone about it. Or share how you really feel. Someone that is available for you always, someone you can trust. A friend. As a doula I am here for you, navigate you through the maze of different options, make sure you feel empowered, safe.
I want you and you partner to feel more connected through the process of birth so I focus on helping him support you. You two are the center of your unique story.
Birth is a unique and transformative experience and every woman should feel supported during this time and walk away with confidence.
I am certified birth doula with Childbirth International since 2019. I have also been trained by Sutter Davis Birthing Center in 2016 and worked as a volunteer doula there until my first daughter was born in 2017. I have attended variety of workshops that help me grow in knowledge of how best I can support you. I am certified childbirth educator since 2020.
I am currently in training with Stillbirthday, a training that will help me support moms that experienced loss of their baby.
